The 'First Golf Olympics Champion' Justin Rose is the Winner of the Tournament

The Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament, where OPET was included among the sponsors, was held for the 5th time in Antalya. The winner of the tournament, which was held during November 2-5 as hosted by Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort, was Justin Rose who also holds the title of the ‘first golf Olympics champion'.
OPET, which continues its support in sports for the development of Turkish sports and achievements in the international arena, was included among the sponsors of the Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament that was organized during November 2-5 at Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort. World renowned names of golf competed on the course within the scope of the Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament where the heart of the international sports agenda beat in Belek. World renowned golfers such as the 2014 champion Martin Kaymer, Henrik Stenson and Matt Kuchar took part in the 4-days' tournament that started with the stroke of the famous Australian golfer Marcus Fraser. The winner of the Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament, which was watched by more than one and a half billion people in the entire world and is the golf tournament with the highest monetary award in Europe, was Justin Rose who was the first Olympic Champion of golf that was included for the first time in the Summer Olympics organized in Rio last year. Rose received his award from the hands of Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said, "I witnessed the enthusiasm of the golf-lovers as well as the golfers in the tournament. We will continue to support this event. I would like to extend my special thanks to Fikret Öztürk and his valued spouse.“ Meanwhile, Justin Rose who expressed that the tournament was an important experience for him, said “It is always very nice to be in Turkey. The golf I played with Fikret Öztürk at Pro-am organized on Wednesday was very entertaining, he knows the course very well."
