Superbrands, the international independent authority that awarded companies with outstanding achievements in brand management, has named OPET the "Super Brand of Turkey" for the third time. Timuçin Güler, OPET Marketing and Communications Executive Vice President, who was awarded the prize by famous actor Ali Poyrazoğlu ha sadi "We will continue to make a difference."

As a result of research conducted by Superbrands, an international brand evaluation organization, in coordination with The Nielsen Company, OPET was once again named "Super Brand of Turkey". OPET became the only fuel distribution company which entered list of "Super Brands of Turkey" again this year.

Superbrands awarded Super Brands of Turkey with an award ceremony held at Hilton Bosphorus Hotel on December 6th. Ali Poyrazoğlu, the famous actor who undertook the presentation of the ceremony, has awarded brands selected as Superbrands awards one by one while Timuçin Güler, the Executive Vice President, received the prize on behalf of OPET.

Timuçin Güler made the following statement: "We continue our way with our innovative services and customer satisfaction oriented services. The habits of today's consumers are rapidly changing and digitizing. With the "Clean Toilet Campaign" started from the toilets of the OPET stations, we have paved the way for a change that has spread throughout the whole society. In the coming period we will continue to make a difference by raising our bars with our new services."

In addition to the size of the company, criteria such as technology, investments, quality of work, creativity, investment in branding and brand continuity, contribution to social responsibility projects, environmental sensitivity, compliance with ethical values and tax rank are taken into consideration for super brand selection. How does the Super Brands of Turkey are Selected?

The 'Superbrands' Survey is being conducted in 88 countries around the world and carried out in Turkey every two years. This year, 300 brands has passed the elimination of the jury which evaluated 1148 brands selected within 4986 brands by Superbrands Turkey. As a result of the consumer evaluations conducted by Nielsen face to face with 1,638 people in Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir between 18-56 years and in all SES groups for these 300 brands, 181 brands have exceeded the threshold and became one of the "Supermarkets of Turkey".
