OPET, which continues to be the most popular brand in the fuel sector with its leadership in customer satisfaction, reunites with Cem Yılmaz, the brand face 15 years ago. OPET General Manager Cüneyt Ağca said: “OPET is a visionary and development oriented brand that always does more. We will announce the difference we have created in our works in a creative and interesting way with our cooperation with a versatile artist like Cem Yılmaz.”
OPET, with over 1600 stations in Turkey, its products and services, its sustainable change in the fuel sector with social responsibility projects and innovations, is coming once again together with Cem Yılmaz after 15 years. The collaboration between OPET and artist Cem Yılmaz, who signed projects focused on customer satisfaction with the slogan of "OPET Makes Everything Changes", was announced at a press conference held at Rahmi M. Koç Museum. Cem Yılmaz and OPET General Manager Cüneyt Ağca and OPET Marketing Deputy General Manager Murat Zengin attended the meeting held on 11 February 2020.
In his speech at the meeting, OPET General Manager Cüneyt Ağca said that OPET maintains its place at the top of customer satisfaction with its social responsibility projects created by starting from alternative services and social needs it offers to its customers. Ağca said: "Beyond being a fuel distribution brand, we have a permanent place in our customers' lives. Because we listen to our customers, prepare appropriate conditions for their expectations and do what cannot be done in the industry. We work with the goal of protecting and exceeding our current standards with the feedback we receive.” He continued saying "We achieved the highest growth in the fuel distribution market in 2019, we increased our market share to over 19 percent." He stated that in 2020, they targeted OPET to grow by 4 percent and reach a market share of 19.5 percent.
Ağca said that the cooperation they made with Cem Yılmaz 15 years ago had a major influence in the rise of OPET brand and they signed an advertising campaign that all Turkey have spoken about and added "Cem Yılmaz and our brand have many common points. Cem Yılmaz is also visionary with innovative perspective as our brand and is one of Turkey's most beloved names as a leader of change. This time, we reconstruct the strong bond we have established with Cem Yılmaz in line with today's expectations and needs. At the signing ceremony, the film that was shot specially for the press conference with Cem Yılmaz, who will be in the OPET commercials for two years, and also bridges the past and present, was also shown. GITT (Beautiful Human Transport Vehicle) and Mike are exposed in Rahmi Koç Museum were also used in the film which referred to lines such as "I teared up the track...I'll get your keys...I made it talk...". The press conference ended with the signing of cooperation by OPET General Manager Cüneyt Ağca and Cem Yılmaz.
