With Women's Power Project, at Least Two Women Employees at Each OPET Station
As the innovative and pioneer organization in fuel sector, OPET's new social responsibility project, "Women's Power", which has been started towards "woman employment" as one of the most essential subjects in Turkey's agenda, is in steady progress. Having reviewed the human resources processes in its stations within the scope of the project which has been prepared towards increasing woman employment in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, OPET aims to employ at least two women in every station.
Working with the vision of contributing to the creation of a more conscious society by adopting education, health, environment, and historical values, special training and vocational development programs will be prepared by enabling OPET dealers to utilize Turkish Employment Agency employment incentives in recruitment processes of Women's Power project which OPET has started to change the social perception and provide equality of opportunity to women in working life. Operating with over 1600 stations in Turkey, OPET aims to increase the number of women employees by eliminating the occupational gender in fuel stations with the project that will be cooperatively run by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Reviewing the human resources processes in fuel stations within the scope of the project, OPET aims to employ at least two women in its stations, and to provide working opportunities for women in different positions such as fuel and store sales executive, station manager, shift superintendent, and accounting clerk.
