OPET was found worthy of 2 awards by the League of American Communication Professionals with its 4th Sustainability Report prepared in compliance with the G4 criteria of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). While OPET's Sustainability Report was included among the 'Best Reports' in the report category of the Spotlight Awards - Global Communication Contest and was awarded with the Gold Prize, it was also included in the "Top 25" list where the best corporate communication studies in all sectors were listed. OPET has also been found worthy of the same award with the reports it had published previously. .
OPET, the innovative brand of the fuel oil distribution sector, received 2 awards from the League of American Communication Professionals with its "4th Sustainability Report" that covered the operations of 2014-2015. While OPET was awarded with the Gold Prize by being included among the 'Best Reports' in the report category in the Spotlight Awards - Global Communication Contest, which is one of the most esteemed awards in the field of sustainability, it was included in the "Top 25" list where the best corporate communication studies in all sectors were listed. OPET, which is the first organization that published a GRI approved sustainability report in the fuel oil distribution sector as a Turkish company, was found worthy of the award by scoring 98 points over 100 in total in the first impression, general expression, visual design, creativity, message clarity and perceived compliance criteria.
‘WE ARE RUNNING TO THE FUTURE’
The report prepared by OPET as titled “We are Running to the Future” presents the sustainability performance of OPET in line with the principles of transparency and sustainability to the opinions of its stakeholders under the Sustainable Value Chain, Environment Management, Career and Social Development headings. The report, which was prepared in compliance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 standards, focuses on the sustainability matters that pose as priorities for OPET and its stakeholders and related indicators, and adopts a shorter and more concise implementation. The Progress Report principles of the United Nations Global Compact, where Koç Holding that OPET is affiliated with is a signatory, also constitute another reference point of the report.

OPET was found worthy of 3 awards last year by the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP) with its 3rd Sustainability Report.
